    Job Description

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Management Analyst, reporting to the Sr. Director of Risk Management.

    The Risk Management Analyst will support the Sr. Director, Risk Management in all aspects of insurance claims process for corporate-wide property, workers’ compensation, casualty, and automobile liability and other related insurance plans.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for reviewing all incoming incidents.
    • Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in an accurate and meaningful manner,
    • Work closely with insurance adjusters, insurance brokers, the Safety and Legal teams, and other internal stakeholders to provide requested documentation.
    • Provide support to the Sr. Director, Risk Management in administering the Property, Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Liability insurance programs and claims handling process.
    • Review insurance and claims related billings for approvals.
    • Review, assess, and process incoming claims related correspondence for proper handling of claim files.
    • Assist with collecting information for insurance renewal applications and submissions.
    • Prepare reports, metrics, and presentations.
    • Provides support to store with incident reporting process and follow-up.
    • Collect, analyze and maintain data related to incidents/claims to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
    • 2+ years’ experience supporting corporate risk management insurance programs and/or claims experience preferred.
    • Prior claims experience preferred.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Knowledge and understanding of claims handling processes and procedures.
    • Ability to assess the terms and conditions of policies and agreements.
    • Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proficient on Microsoft Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Ability to organize and establish priorities.
    • Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions.
    • Ability to evaluate data for current trends and apply trends to loss prevention.
    • Ability to deal with a diverse group of people.
    • Ability to be self-motivated.
