We are looking to add a full-time Insurance Sales Agent to our team. Experience in the insurance industry is helpful, but not required. The agency will train and license the right candidate. You will have strong customer service skills and a solid sales background. You will assist existing clients with updates to their policies, processing payments, and recognizing opportunities to adjust coverages based on their particular needs. You will have strong networking skills, comfort with asking for referrals, and success with calling on internet leads in an effort to build your customer base. Responsibilities: • Market insurance products to new client base by utilizing leads, referrals, and self-prospecting • Provide exceptional customer service to our existing client base • Ensure customer account information is up-to-date • Clearly document customer account files and ensure timely follow-up is completed • Keep customer satisfaction levels high by providing accurate information, resolving issues, and offering all coverages particular to their needs • Recognize pivot sales opportunities while assisting with customer service requests • Follow the established sales processes • Record sales and prospecting results to ensure goals are being met or exceeded • Market insurance products to new and existing customers • Work toward achieving monthly bonus opportunities • Work well in a team environment Qualifications: • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license • Candidates must have some computer experience, including the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs • Previous customer service experience is required for this position • Ability to follow established processes and procedures • Great time management and communication skills • Ability to learn computer functions • Must be able to work well in a team environment • Excellent interpersonal skills • Positive, ambitious, and outgoing personality with a strong desire to self-prospect and generate sales leads • Proven track record of successful sales experience Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
