The ideal candidate for our entry-level insurance agent position has the solid communications skills it takes to drive insurance sales among potential clients and new clients. Responsibilities: • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Keep an accurate log of sales databases, client reports, bookkeeping records, and more to share progress toward goals with key stakeholders • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Client Needs Analysis : Engage with potential clients to assess their needs, life goals, and insurance requirements. Conduct thorough consultations to understand their specific circumstances and recommend tailored solutions • Presenting Insurance Options : Help clients understand their coverage options and benefits, enabling them to make informed decisions that best meet their financial security needs • Application and Documentation : Assist clients with the application process by guiding them through completing the necessary paperwork • Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and regular check-ins • Sales and Performance Tracking : Actively pursue and follow up on leads provided, aiming to close sales while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Qualifications: • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus • Open to embracing the insurance industry and becoming educated about its relevant state and federal regulations • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills required; customer service experience is a plus • Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required • Life Insurance license not required but must be willing to obtain. License will be payed for by the company • Driven and goal-oriented individual • No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn • Strong customer service, listening, presentation, and communication skills • Laptop and/or iPad • High-Speed Internet Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 At Plan Yearly
