Responsibilities: • Stay abreast of all insurance coverage provisions, the overall insurance industry, regulations, and pertinent legislation to ensure customers understand their coverage terms and insurance services in the process • Deliver a high level of personal attention to prospective and existing customers, personally visiting them to follow up as needed, and provide coaching management on commercial insurance policy options upon request • Implement a range of sales and networking strategies such as prospecting and cold calling potential customers to maintain grow customer base and provide outstanding service to your existing book of business; positioning the company as one with a competitive advantage at every opportunity • Support clients efforts to decrease or eliminate the propensity for insurance claims by presenting them with reliable risk management reports • Collaborate with managers and key stakeholders to determine commercial insurance needs against available insurance products and negotiation terms and conditions based Qualifications: • Stellar research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills are essential • In-depth knowledge of available insurance policies and insurance coverage offerings along with their key differentiators • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, mathematics, statistics, or other relevant discipline necessary - high school diploma is required • Sound knowledge or eagerness to learn the intricacies of working procedures within commercial enterprises to best advise clients on relevant policies • Computer proficiency is required, including Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 on target earnings
