We want to add a motivated person who wants to own their own insurance agency. The ideal candidate for our insurance agent position needs to have solid communication skills and a drive to be successful. They must bring a friendly attitude and a passion for customer service, and we’ll invest our resources into training you to be a successful insurance sales representative! Responsibilities: • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community Qualifications: • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Experience using accounting or sales-related software is beneficial • High school diploma necessary; college degree a bonus • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Must be a good communicator and be able to explain complex insurance programs to the customer Compensation: $66,000 at plan commission
