Responsibilities: • Gain insurance agent self-sufficiency by collaborating with your mentor on confidence and skill-building • Uncover opportunities to upsell and cross-sell financial products by treating each client contact as a chance to generate new and continued business • Meet established new business production objectives to further the agency’s overall financial goals • Leverage accurate data, customer information, and insurance rates to develop quotes for insurance policies • Evaluate the individual needs and goals of prospective customers in order to present them with the most suitable insurance policy options • Handle customer inquiries • Sell and solicit/provide information about the products and services • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns • Document and update customer records based on interactions • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services Qualifications: • Job seekers must already have or be willing to get their state Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health insurance licenses • Strong leadership and communications skills are a must • One year minimum sales experience preferred • Should be great at making connections to build rapport and relationships with others • Candidates must clear a background check • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields • Ability to build rapport with clients • Ability to prioritize and multitask • Positive and professional demeanor • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be willing to obtain an Insurance License Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
