Responsibilities: This role starts with sales. • Recruiting, hiring, and training new agents and financial professionals to build a high-performing sales team, supporting both individual and team development. • Establishing and driving sales targets, strategies, and objectives while providing support to agents in achieving their individual and collective goals. • Offering ongoing mentorship and development for agents, enhancing their skills in client relationship management, product expertise, and ethical sales practices. • Monitoring team performance, conducting evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to foster professional growth and goal achievement. • Managing client relationships by ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction, and collaborating with agents to address clients’ financial and insurance needs effectively. • Partnering with senior leadership to develop and implement growth strategies that align team objectives with company goals. • Ensuring all agents comply with regulatory and ethical standards, delivering exceptional service while safeguarding client confidentiality. • Identifying new markets or client segments for expansion and collaborating with agents to establish a strong presence in those areas. • Representing New York Life at community events and networking opportunities to enhance the company’s reputation and connect with potential clients. Qualifications: This role starts with sales. • Extensive experience in insurance sales, financial advising, or a related field, with a proven history of success in sales or management roles. • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team, enabling individuals to reach their professional goals while achieving overall team success. • Strong background in sales, including expertise in developing strategies, setting and surpassing targets, and driving revenue growth. • Experience recruiting and training top talent, ideally with a track record of building high-performing teams in the insurance or financial services sector. • Exceptional interpersonal skills for building rapport with diverse clients, managing relationships, and fostering effective communication within the team. • In-depth knowledge of insurance products and financial planning, including life insurance, annuities, retirement solutions, and other investment options. • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to support team growth and market expansion. • Familiarity with industry regulations, with a steadfast commitment to ethical practices and maintaining compliance. • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred; substantial industry experience may substitute for formal education. • Active state Life & Health insurance license, with a willingness to obtain additional certifications or licenses as needed for compliance and career advancement. • Highly driven to achieve and exceed goals, demonstrating independence, initiative, and a proactive leadership style. Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 yearly
