    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Focused:

    Proactively make outbound calls and handle inbound calls to quote and bind auto, home, and life insurance.

    Meet with new business prospects and deliver compelling presentations.

    Assist with quoting personal & commercial lines insurance and follow up with customers to complete the sales process.

    Build relationships with referral partners such as mortgage lenders and real estate agents.

    Maintain product knowledge and create brokerage quotes and applications.

    Visit properties for field underwriting and take photos.

    Cross-sell to current customers.

    Leadership Focused: Sales Leadership

    Assists agency owner in hiring and on-boards agency sales staff

    Develops agency staff through ongoing coaching sessions, effective performance feedback, role play and reviews

    Uses knowledge of insurance products, coverages, contracts and pricing to ensure the team effectively and accurately advises customers regarding their insurance needs

    Strives to achieve growth and profit targets by reviewing the unit’s sales and underwriting metrics while advising agency staff on risk management strategies

    Insurance Sales Management

    Manages sales production against monthly, quarterly and annual goals

    Partner with the agency owner to drive sales team engagement through rewards and incentives

    Knowledge and Skill Development

    Continually pursues professional development and stays current of the trends and innovations in the insurance industry

    Participates in continuing education and professional designation programs

    Develops agency staff knowledge and skills including sales presentation and closing techniques

    Service Oriented:

    Assist with incoming phone calls and help resolve billing issues and policy transactions.

    Deliver outstanding customer experiences.

    High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

    Must have proven track record of sales success in insurance sales

    Competitive base salary (range based on experience), commission, and bonuses.

    Schedule:

    Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:15 PM

    Friday: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
