    Job Description

    The Sales/Account Manager position at Mike Pullen's State Farm Insurance agency is responsible for managing existing client relationships & seeking new client relationships. I have an established book of business for 25+yrs with far more potential for growth. Our insurance industry landscape makes it an ideal time for meeting new clients outside our book of business. State Farm is an industry leader & we should manage these inflationary pressures better than most competitors. We focus on Auto, Homeowners & Life with the ability to market some Business Insurance & Financial Services to our clients as well. We are located next to Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville. We encourage a fun atmosphere & our entire team has over 20+yrs of experience. This is beneficial because you'll be able to interact with co-workers that have been in the insurance industry for many years. My goal is to create a work environment that encourages productivity with "team player" personalities. If the team has success, everyone will prosper & grow with the agency.

    Responsibilities:

    Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.

    Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs.

    Actively prospect, solicit & network for new clients, including former customers.

    Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary. Present policies to insured and educate them

    Support clients for retention and maintain strong client relationships.

    Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed.

    Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed on new product information and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance.

    Qualifications:

    Possess a valid driver’s license and a source of reliable transportation.

    Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry trends to effectively secure new business and maintain an existing client base.

    Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.

    Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete assignments without supervision, sound judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills.

    Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems.

    Obtain an insurance license through the State of Illinois for Property & Casualty, Life & Health
