    Our family owned and operated Allstate office in San Carlos has been here for 40 years.     An active California Property and Casualty Insurance License is required for this position.

    Responsibilities will include:

    · Insurance sales – Your primary role will be issuing insurance policies (primarily auto and home insurance) for new and current customers.

    · Outbound prospecting – Reaching out to incoming leads, current clients and other prosects to generate sales will be the primary focus of your day.

    · Maintain client relationships – Interacting with clients and prospective clients over phone and email to ensure that we are meeting customer needs.

    · Identify insurance gaps and offering solutions – As an account representative, a large role will be educating clients on the coverage that they have, as well as what coverage they don't have.

    · Follow Up – Whether it is reviewing renewals, following up with a new client during on-boarding, or reaching out to prospect new clients, follow up is an important part of the job.

    Our ideal candidate will meet as many of these requirements as possible:

    · Insurance experience – Ideal Candidate will have experience working in the insurance industry (and CA property and casualty license would be the preferred license we are looking for).

    · Strong motivation and desire to succeed – As this is an outbound sales opportunity it is entirely up to your input and work ethic to determine your individual success and contribution to our team.

    · Good communication skills – Both over the phone and through email, someone that is a pleasant, effective communicator will thrive in our office.

    · Experience with computers – You'll receive training on the Allstate specific programs, but having good working knowledge of email, Word, Office, and computers in general is important.

    · Trustworthy, dependable, ethical – Any team needs people they can trust and depend on, and this is certainly a core competency with us.
