The Group Sales Representative is extremely important to the growth of our company. The primary focus of this role is to present , sell , and assist business owners, human resource professionals, and other decision-makers with implementing a completed employer benefits program.
A successful Group Sales Representative has the skill set to communicate thoroughly over the phone , network with new prospects , and support team members in advancing the growth of the company. The GSR can expect to be measured by their activities, meetings, and new sales.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to) :
· Understand the company’s products and service offerings.
· Identify and reach out to prospects via email, phone, and in-person meetings to educate them on our product offerings.
· Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and referral sources.
· Solicit, sell, and negotiate new business policies with new clients.
· Prepare policy documents for policyholders.
· Document conversations and follow-ups.
· Set appointments and manage sales appointments.
· Perform administrative tasks such as organizing, filling out paperwork, and maintaining records of prospects.
· Attend networking events, educational seminars, and social functions on behalf of the company.

Qualifications:
· Previous sales experience required.
· High school diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, or a related field.
· Current Health/Life License in Texas or become licensed within the first 60 days of position.
· Personable with great communication skills.
· Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion.
· Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
· Able to receive and apply feedback in the pursuit of excellence.
· Strong, proactive, driven work ethic.
· Must maintain a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible.
· Must be able to handle possible rejection.
· Must be able to respond to demands in a timely manner.

Compensation:
· Salaried position; $55,000-65,000 base pay + bonus.
