Job Summary The Insurance Sales Rep role markets, prospects, and sells American Family Insurance products in all product lines. Maintains effective customer relationships, understands customers' needs, and matches them with appropriate product and service offerings. Promotes brand awareness through participation in agency and community events.
Responsibilities
Helps the Agency grow by using consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers
Proactively cross-sells and or coordinates with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers
Secures new business through individual effort and established lead methods
Qualifications
Active Property and Casualty license required.
Comfortable communicating with clients to drive sales and retain relationships.
Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and organize work
Demonstrated sales experience and met metrics set by agency.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.)
