We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, educating potential clients on various insurance policies, and providing exceptional customer service. Your goal will be to help clients make informed decisions about their insurance needs and to achieve your sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition: Identify potential clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and lead generation. Meet with clients to discuss their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
Customer Service: Build and maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication and support. Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and process policy changes.
Policy Presentation: Explain different types of insurance policies and coverage options to clients, helping them understand the benefits and costs associated with each option.
Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine clients’ insurance requirements and financial goals. Tailor insurance solutions to meet individual client needs.
Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets through a combination of prospecting, networking, and cross-selling insurance products.
Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitors. Continuously update knowledge of company products, services, and sales techniques.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities are conducted in compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policies sold. Prepare regular sales reports for management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field is highly desirable. Experience in customer service or sales is also beneficial.
Licensing: Must hold a valid insurance license or be willing to obtain one prior to starting in the role.
