Responsibilities: • Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs • Offer personal attention when pursuing new clients through various marketing strategies to grow your existing portfolio of policyholders • Stay abreast of any changes to rules or policies within the insurance agency to effectively amend insurance programs for existing and prospective clients • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals Qualifications: • Basic understanding of sales lead or accounting software is helpful • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Candidates must have or be willing to get an insurance license • Ability to learn and understand state and federal regulations that affect insurance sales, insurance clients, and the insurance industry as a whole • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 yearly
