Responsibilities: • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Serve as an attentive listener when communicating with new and potential clients in order to accurately identify their unique needs prior to pursuing specific insurance sales • Update reports, records, bookkeeping systems, and other organizational tools to accurately report progress toward monthly insurance sales goals • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • **License & Compliance: **Obtain your state insurance license (if not yet licensed) and adhere to all industry regulations. • Product Knowledge: Master life and annuity products to provide customized client solutions. • Client Engagement: Build relationships with clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored insurance solutions. • Sales Prospecting: Develop your client base through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach. • Customer Service: Provide exceptional support after the sale, including policy updates and client inquiries. • Time Management: Balance client meetings, prospecting, and administrative tasks to maintain productivity. • Goal Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets in terms of policies sold and premium volumes.
