Insurance Sales Representative
We want to add a motivated person who wants to own their own insurance agency. The ideal candidate for our insurance agent position needs to have solid communication skills and a drive to be successful. They must bring a friendly attitude and a passion for customer service, and we’ll invest our resources into training you to be a successful insurance sales representative! Responsibilities: • Conduct meetings with new and potential clients and carefully listen to their individual circumstances in order to present the best insurance policies to meet their needs • Remain updated about insurance industry changes that may affect customers in your portfolio • Develop risk management strategies for each customer to ensure his or her policy needs are continuously met • Maintain a portfolio of existing customers and pursue insurance sales with new clients by using sales strategies that may include cold calling and networking • Willingness to create lasting relationships within your local community • Must be a good communicator and be able to explain solutions to the customer • High School diploma at must: college degree a bonus or related work experience • Ability to review and solve situational tasks • Willingness to complete tasks without having to be micromanaged • Ability to make decisions at the moment • Willingness to learn and grow as the business changes Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory • Job seekers must already have or be willing to get an insurance license • Fundamental computer skills such as experience with Microsoft Office • Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders • Must be a superb communicator able to carefully analyze complex ideas like insurance programs; experience working in customer service is beneficial • Must be a good communicator and be able to explain complex insurance programs to the customer Compensation: $66,000 at plan commission
