Responsibilities: • Communicate with applicants in person and via phone and email to collect current and accurate insurance information to use in the development of risk assessment profiles • Develop reports using accurate data and analytics that will be leveraged for policy decisions such as coverage determinations and policy parameters • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within underwriting software programs by verifying all documents for accuracy and completion in order to provide sound policy recommendations to prospective and existing customers • Assume the role of communications liaison between underwriters and customers in order to track, manage, and prioritize insurance services • Share policy approvals, rejections, or other related determinations promptly with colleagues and clients • Review both new and renewal policies for accuracy • Review changes to client policies for accuracy Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, business administration, or related field required • Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation considered a bonus • Some years of experience working in the insurance industry or as an administrative assistant, or a related job is a plus • Must be detail-oriented to collect and maintain accurate client records • Must have strong communications and interpersonal skills Compensation: $35,000 yearly
