    Mind Computing is seeking an Intake Process Facilitator/Technical Writer to work with our government customer to support a major Product Line within the Office of Information Technology. This position will provide support to the Software Product Management (SPM) Corporate Portfolio Office's intake process and will streamline intake workflows. The Intake Process Facilitator/Technical Writer will accomplish this by managing, scheduling, facilitating and participating in various meetings and supporting artifacts that help our client prioritize IT Service Requests (Demands). Further, the Intake Process Facilitator/Technical Writer will follow the documented process and identify opportunities for process improvement. Work performed supports a critical component of our client's mission and focuses on solution standards, strategic priorities, and planning requirements.

    The candidate must reside within the continental US.

    Responsibilities :

    • Analyzing business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems, such as human capital management systems, financial tracking systems, etc.
    • Defining, documenting, and communicating business requirements and reporting them back to respective stakeholders.
    • Scheduling, coordinating Pre-Discovery and Discovery meetings with business stakeholders to determine applicable work products, e.g., Detailed Solution Documents (DSDs, others), AOA, Cost Estimation, etc.
    • Understanding in-place processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Facilitating the review and analysis of systems documentation.
    • Coordinating with development teams and user groups to assess risks and ensure requirements and project goals are met.
    • Coordinating with cross-organizational development teams to meet the project goals, monitor, and report on progress.

    Requirements:

    • A bachelor's degree in communications, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • Creating Documentation: Writing user manuals, guides, help files, and FAQs to assist users in understanding complex products or processes.
    • Gathering information from subject matter experts, engineers, and other stakeholders to produce accurate and comprehensive documentation.
    • Organization and Structure: Designing and structuring documents to ensure clarity and logical flow, making it easier for readers to find information.
    • Editing and Proofreading: Reviewing technical documents for clarity, grammar, and consistency, ensuring quality standards are met.
    • Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with stakeholders, intake team members, and product managers, to understand requirements and communicate this effectively in documentation.
    • Working Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.

    Additional Qualifications:

    • Knowledge and experience in VA processes and systems like Planning and Analysis Documents (PAD2), Analysis of Alternatives, Technical Architectures and Cost Estimation.
    • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
