Intake Specialist
Primary responsibility to conduct screening/triage for all new outpatient clients, record collected information (demographic data, insurance coverage, clinical information) in electronic health record, and schedule client intake appointments.
Full-time / Non-Exempt
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
Hourly Rate begins at $20.00
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or receptionist background preferred. Ability to multitask is required. Must possess and demonstrate a high level of computer knowledge, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent phone manner and communication skills are essential.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk, using the phone, and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Valid Driver’s license is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Answer incoming calls and ensure that all callers are assisted appropriately. Provide information about agency programs and services.
Greet and check in clients upon arrival. Collect co-pays and client fees at time of service. Ask, “Have there been any changes to your insurance, address, phone number?” Provide new client with McCall “welcome”/informational packet.
Verify state insurance coverage for client intake appointments.
Any additional responsibilities assigned by Supervisor.
