    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Intake Specialist to join our team in Milwaukee, United States. As an Intake Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the initial contact and information gathering process for our organization. This position requires a professional and supportive individual who can effectively handle client interactions while maintaining accurate records.

    • Conduct initial interviews with clients to gather essential information and assess their needs
    • Enter and maintain accurate client data in our database systems
    • Perform preliminary eligibility screenings for various programs or services
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth client processing
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to clients throughout the intake process
    • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures
    • Prepare and organize intake documentation for further processing
    • Assist in identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in client information
    • Collaborate with team members to improve intake processes and efficiency
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency in data entry and attention to detail
    • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
    • Customer service orientation with a supportive and empathetic approach
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
    • Knowledge of intake procedures and documentation best practices
    • 1-3 years of experience in intake, customer service, or related field
    • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred (not mandatory)
    • Familiarity with social services, healthcare, or legal intake processes is a plus
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
    • Bilingual skills may be beneficial (Spanish/English)
