    The Job: Protein Engineering and Anti-body Discovery capabilities are key to effectively prosecuting our scientific assets. The successful Scientist/Senior Scientist will bring strong technical skills, meaningful industry experience, a collaborative approach to cutting-edge scientific research and is motivated to make a meaningful impact addressing unmet medical needs.

    Job Title: Scientist/Senior Scientist, Antibody/Protein Engineering

    Primary responsibilities include:

    • Humanize antibody using CDR grafting and framework engineering. 
    • Perform antibody affinity maturation.
    • Perform Fc engineering for effector function manipulation and half-life extension.
    • Stability engineering of antibody.
    • Engineer antibody mimetics.
    • Provide antibody developability analysis.
    • Execute strategies for antibody optimization efforts employing advanced molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology techniques, protein analytics and modeling bioinformatics.
    • Develop process and assays to discover, generate and characterize antibodies against selected target antigens.

    Requirements:

    • PhD in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or other relevant fields with 3+ years of postdoctoral experience
    • Experience and expertise in therapeutic antibody discovery and engineering with strong publication record.
    • Strong hands-on molecular biology experience is required.
    • Expertise in phage display and combinatory library technology.
    • Experience in antibody expression and purification is a plus.
    • Experience in mentoring, training and managing others.
