    Job Description

    Integrated Management Strategies (IMS) is an SBA certified 8a and woman-owned small business, located out of Alexandria, VA. IMS is a fast growing, Management and Healthcare consulting firm services the Defense Health Agency, Army, Naval Logistics Command, USDA, CMS and Education.

    IMS is looking for dynamic, growth-oriented Sr. Vice President of Operations. This ideal candidate will be a critical member and key contributor of the organization’s Executive Team and will be a primary influencer of the long-term strategy within the organization. As a leader, the Sr. VP will be a champion of the company's vision while exemplifying the quality standards and instilling the right company culture. Responsible for overseeing daily operations and processes in the DoD, healthcare and in the Federal government contracting space. The Sr. VP will engage closely with all internal operations regarding organizational goals and objectives and assist in defining strategy and driving overall profitability of operations. This is a hands-on position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Oversee all aspects of operations, implementing business strategies, and processes, setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth while establishing policies that promote company culture and vision.

    · Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data, metrics, and key performance indicators.

    · Provide day-to-day leadership and management to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the company's vision, mission, and objectives.

    · Drive accelerated business growth, enhance production capacity goals and output by building, onboarding, training, supporting, and retaining a high performing team of production professionals.

    · Actively manages the cross-functional leadership team to achieve production milestones and financial performance per the operating plan with scalable solutions to achieve long-range business objectives.

    · Administer the daily operations of the organization, including IT, Delivery, contracts, proposal management, and business development.

    · Model the organization’s culture and values, while driving the mission of a pursuit of excellence. Advising and evaluating department heads and managers on performance, compliance with goals.

    · Ensure optimal utilization of manpower and resources available to achieve maximum output. Introduce improvements in relation to productivity, quality, or material utilization rate.

    · You will also be responsible for increasing business development by tapping emerging trends and business verticals

    · Facilitate and enhance the Company’s strategic priorities, objectives, metrics, milestones, and initiatives to compete in the full and open space

    · Lead the Defense and Intel Unit, Program Managers and Project Managers in developing cascading strategies that align to the corporate strategy

    · Improving business unit portfolios and profitability, by conducting consistent monthly and quarterly program reviews and complete improvements that lead to profitability

    · Improve the overall delivery performance

    SKILLS/ABILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:

    · Proven track record of driving best practices, improving productivity and profitability throughout operations with leading-edge management practices, innovative use of technology, cost reduction strategies and high-quality investment decisions.

    · Prior experience in LEAN, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Total Quality Management (Quality Assurance/Control) and similar productivity methodologies required.

    · Knowledge of problem-solving statistical tools. Ability to deal with identification of abnormalities and apply problem solving techniques.

    · Excellent leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.

    · Hands-on, roll up the sleeves, agile and determined leader.

    · Proficient financial acumen and entrepreneurial perspective.

    · Well versed in strategy and budgetary development and management.

    · Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

    · Team oriented, strong ability to cross-functionally multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment and to multiple deadlines.

    · Strong organizational and collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently within and across departments.

    · Excellent data analytics, presentation and reporting experience, and abilities to generate and present information to the organization including the creation of accurate metrics and narrative describing operating results, root cause analysis for problems, and opportunities for improvement.

    · Prior leadership experience in a rapidly growing, high-performance, fast-paced team environment.

    · Proficient computer skills, including MS office, as well as effective use of MRP systems.

    · Understanding of Government Contracting, DoD contracts, SCA Wage requirements, etc.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    · Strong growth acumen; 7-10 years’ experience in the DHA, CMS, USDA, Navy market; with healthcare and IT experience

    · 10 years of Program or Project Management experience

    · Source opportunities and drive business development and capture efforts on opportunities with values >$100M

    · Experience qualifying and advocating for deals thru gate review process. Drive qualification reviews for deals

    · Experience successfully shaping requirements and building acquisition strategies

    · Lead consortium/teaming efforts

    · Demonstrate success developing and presenting complex ideas to executive audiences and effectively articulating customer positions, status, and strategies to senior management in a clear, concise, and decisive manner

    · Identify opportunities for account growth and actively propose and pursue appropriate enhancements and changes

    · Experience building, executing client call plans & shaping strategies; must be willing to work as part of a collaborative market team

    · Ability to lead/support business intelligence and market analysis

    · Demonstrated ability to support several complex projects simultaneously

    · Proven experience building a viable, new business task order funnel

    · Excellent business development skills with the ability to easily work across many diverse organizations

    · Preferred Qualifications

    · Advanced Degree in Business, Management, Organizational Change

    · 10+ years of experience with DHA, CMS, USDA, Navy clients

    · Military Background Preferred

    · US Citizenship is required

    PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS

    · A Master’s degree in relevant fields is desirable.

    · Bachelor’s Degree or MBA, PMP certification or Lean Six Sigma,

    · A track record of success in managing, mentoring, coaching, and directing employees; experience in developing staff and promoting growth within the organization thru various avenues of cross-training and other training.
