Job Description
Integration Architect
- An NG911 (Next Generation 911) Integration Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integration solutions for NG911 systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and experience in emergency communication systems.
- Work with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure delivery of desired functionality, requirements, and interoperability of the system of systems.
- Ensure stable enterprise, system of systems architecture by following engineering and architectural best practices.
- Lead comprehensive end to end testing discussions, provide test cases for SAT and SIT, and identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible.
- Review test results for accuracy, validate against architectural deliverables.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Integration Architect
- Work with subject matter experts and project managers to ensure delivery of desired functionality, requirements, and interoperability of the system of systems.
- Design and architect integration solutions for NG911 systems to ensure interoperability and seamless communication between different components.
- Ensure stable enterprise, system of systems architecture by following engineering and architectural best practices.
- Lead the implementation of integration solutions, including configuring middleware, developing APIs, and setting up communication protocols
- Lead comprehensive end to end testing discussions, provide test cases for SAT and SIT, and identify areas for automation and scripting wherever possible.
- Review test results for accuracy, validate against architectural deliverables.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree with no less than 12 years in Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering within PS environment
- Excellent technical architecture skills, enabling the creation of future proof public safety solutions
- Experience building and supporting mission critical infrastructure for critical applications, running in a highly distributed manner
- Experience in large-scale integration efforts involving multiple technologies, virtual infrastructures, end-user agencies and/or contractors
- Experience with SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) and RTP (Real-Time Protocol).
- Experience with Monitoring tools withing NG911 systems
- Min 12 yrs experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology or skill set.
- Knowledge of system integration techniques and the ability to design systems that work seamlessly with existing infrastructure
- Strong written and oral communication skills as well as presentation and facilitation skills;
- Subject Matter Expert of Enterprise Integration for multiple complex applications within Public Safety domain;
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in various technology stacks, platforms, and architectures. Proficiency in system design principles, software architecture, and understanding of hardware components
