    SUMMARY:

    As a Systems Administrator, you’ll be a point of escalation on a team, utilizing a high level of technical expertise in provisioning, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure. In this dynamic role, you’ll work directly with clients and team members, participating in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This environment is very fast-paced, and constantly evolving, so you’ll need to be up for the challenge.

    JOB DUTIES, FUNCTIONS AND COMPENTENCIES:

    The System Administrator will support Integris’ Managed Services department . This would include knowledge and skills in some the following areas:

    • Provide technical assistance to clients
    • Respond using various communication channels including phone, email, remote assistance tools, and in person, on occasion.
    • Research questions using available information resources.
    • Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
    • Oversee client networks and systems operations
    • Assist with client and employee on-boarding and off-boarding process
    • Perform software installations utilizing tools, scripts and licenses
    • Troubleshoot network/software issues and set expectations with users for follow up and resolution of issues
    • Identify and document incidents accurately and in a timely manner through our ticketing system
    • Perform software installations utilizing tools, scripts and licenses
    • Keep up to date on user environments, by maintaining documentation and communicating effectively with the end user
    • Serve as a technical escalation point for team members
    • Assist in the development and growth of the team
    • Follow industry and technology trends and best practices
    • Keep current on new hardware and software that may benefit the company
    • Assess new products and systems by evaluating new software to support business strategies, providing proposals, specifications and presentations of new product and configuring needs analysis
    • Pass exams to receive major certification credentials (reimbursement provided!)
    • Installations and upgrades are typically outside of normal business hours and occasionally on weekends to minimize impact on clients
    • Early or late start shifts may be required
    • On call rotation within department required
    • Local travel may be required for training and site support (up to 50%).

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Microsoft certifications, CCNA, VCP or other major certification required
    • Knowledge and experience working and troubleshooting Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office suite, and TCP/IP networking and equipment
    • Mac OS knowledge is a plus
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Must have the ability to keep information confidential
    • Must be able to work early morning or late evening as required by manager
    • Experience Requirements: 2+ years preferred experience in Windows server administration support
