    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Radiation Therapist Manager to lead our radiation therapy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the radiation therapy department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and managing a team of radiation therapists. This role requires a strong background in radiation therapy, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage and oversee the daily operations of the radiation therapy department.

    Supervise and mentor a team of radiation therapists, ensuring high-quality patient care.

    Coordinate with physicians, dosimetrists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.

    Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.

    Maintain and monitor equipment, ensuring it meets safety and performance standards.

    Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.

    Handle scheduling, budgeting, and staff performance evaluations.

    Ensure ongoing staff education and training.

    Required Qualifications:

    Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy, Medical Dosimetry, or Medical Physics program.

    National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.

    California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care facility at the managerial level.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or

    Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration.

    Skills and Competencies:

    Strong leadership and management skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    In-depth knowledge of radiation therapy techniques and equipment.

    Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

    Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
