Position Details:
Schedule: 64 hours bi-weekly (0.8 FTE); Full-Time; Benefit Eligible
Summary: Reporting to the Director of Imaging Services or a designated representative, the Diagnostic Imaging Technologist provides radiological care to patients of all ages for the purpose of diagnosing and/or treating anatomical and physiological disorders using ionizing radiation. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of conventional Radiology and the ability to operate all X-ray equipment and PACS. Responsibilities include preparing the exam room, equipment, supplies, and medications for patient procedures, and educating patients. Competency in conventional radiography and at least one other area such as CT (preferred), MRI, or Interventional Radiology is required. On-call duties may be required.
Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification
California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License
Fluoroscopy Permit
