We are currently in search of a skilled legal professional with experience in federal court litigation to collaborate with our clients, team, and founder. Our main focus is representing clients in federal courts nationwide, as well as in Florida state court. Additionally, we handle cases at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and the Copyright Claims Board (CCB). Beyond providing legal services, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to safeguard our clients' intellectual property. We are looking for a litigator with previous exposure to federal court proceedings, a proactive attitude, and a keen willingness to contribute effectively from day one. Our team, including attorneys and staff, upholds the highest standards of excellence, and we expect the same commitment from our new team members. We are seeking individuals who are professional in their interactions with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel, and who can demonstrate initiative and autonomy in completing tasks. While prior experience in intellectual property law is preferred, it is not mandatory. For those new to this practice area, the ability to follow instructions diligently is essential. Conclude your cover letter with the statement “I have reviewed and complied with the instructions outlined in the job posting.” Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategies for achieving solutions for our clients in IP litigation, including patent infringement, trademark infringement, and copyright infringement lawsuits. • Possess an innovative approach to litigation that will tailor solutions for the cases at hand (our litigation and our approach is not cookie-cutter in nature). • Possess the writing skills necessary to prepare pleadings, documents, and other legal writing as needed. • Work collaboratively with firm lawyers, paralegals, and other support staff to ensure our team's success. • Must be a professional even when things are tough. • Show the ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently. • Have an entrepreneurial mindset. Qualifications: • At least two to three years of experience in litigating cases in federal court. • Demonstrated capability in writing pleadings for federal court. • Proficient in taking and defending depositions. • Preferably, the experience of heading a case in court, yet not required. • A Florida Bar member is preferred, but if the applicant is not from Florida, then must be willing to sit and pass the Florida Bar exam within one year. • An American citizen is a must. Compensation: $110,000 minimum
