Intellectual Property Transactional Associate Attorney
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Intellectual Property Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, with a focus on licensing and transactional matters. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex IP transactions and contribute to the firm's continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of intellectual property agreements, including licensing agreements, assignment agreements, and technology transfer agreements.
- Provide legal advice and counsel on intellectual property matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright law.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessments for intellectual property transactions.
- Represent clients in negotiations and mediation.
- Assist with the development of intellectual property strategies and portfolio management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree (or equivalent degree)
- Admission to the North Carolina State Bar preferred
- 3+ years of experience in intellectual property (IP) licensing and IP transactional matters
- Strong academic performance and excellent research and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
