  • Responsibilities

    Warbird Healthcare Advisors actively seeks experienced consultants to be considered for a role as Interim Administrative Director - Radiology with a healthcare system in the Midwest. The successful candidate will lead the planning, operational, and financial activities for all imaging services throughout the system and ensure proper maintenance and functioning of all radiology equipment to conform with safety practices and regulations.

    Location: Onsite (ND)

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversees the planning, directing, and management of all non-physical operations, schedules, programs, and evaluations in Diagnostic Radiology, CT/MRI, Angiography, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Interventional Radiology.
    • Responsible for oversight, development, allocation, and administration of the budget for assigned departments, based on past requirements, future patient care needs, available resources and for quality management outcomes.
    • Ensures reports, documents, payroll records, statistical surveys, and other data required for departmental management and for compliance with various licensing and regulatory agencies are completed timely and correctly.
    • Ensures that standards of equipment and personnel performance as required by various licensing and regulatory agencies is maintained.
    • Coordinates departmental purchasing, storage and utilization. Oversees negotiation of contractual services and supervises the performance of these services.
    • Guides department through various agency inspections.
    • Other duties as they relate to the overall management of the department.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Licenses and Certifications Required Registry with the ARRT
    • Degree in management and/or Radiologic Technology RT (R); (master’s degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in supervisory or management-position
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of the workings of a radiology department; Knowledge of multiple imaging modalities and functions.
