HCT seeks an experienced nursing professional to serve as the Interim Assistant Nurse Manager of Perioperative Services at a 200+ bed hospital in Northern California. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• scheduling, payroll, troubleshooting, audits
• patient rounding when needed
• leading, motivating, and building staff morale to develop their expertise, knowledge, and skills
• survey readiness
• collaborating and coordinating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
• increasing volume in GI department

Requirements:

• Education: BSN required; Master’s degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of nurse management experience in surgical and/or peri anesthesia
• License: Active California RN license
• Certifications: BLS certification issued through the AHA required; CNOR certification preferred 
• Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (Cerner) and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
