HCT seeks an experienced Medical Staff Services professional for an interim Manager at a 48 bed hospital in Northern California. Under the direction of the department leader, you will provide overall supervision of the activities and resources of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises the daily and strategic activities of the department maximizing the use of available
resources to ensure efficiency, high standards, compliance and productivity - Provides input to leadership chain of command on current and future needs of personnel to meet needs of clients and/or operational demands
- Assists in meeting financial targets by effectively managing and utilizing personnel and resources
- Sets and maintains expectations with all direct reports and holds individuals and work teams
accountable
Requirements: - Education: Bachelors in healthcare field highly preferred; Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Medical Staff Services professional within a hospital setting; must have working knowledge of Medical Staff credentialing including initial applications, reappointments, expirables, and meeting minutes
- Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of databases, EPIC experience preferred; and Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
