We're looking for an Interior Design Assistant to support our efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in design and drafting hospitality, commercial, and luxury residential projects. You must have excellent organization, time management, and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to change course several times daily. If you have command of current design trends, enjoy organizing details, and get the job done on time without micromanagement, this may be the job for you. Benefits include: • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Paid Time Off • 401(k) Responsibilities: • Assist in making design selections within budget, including but not limited to fabric, tile, paint, lighting, hardware, etc. • Order samples, as needed, for Clients and maintain organization in the design library • Prepare visually pleasing documentation for Clients to review selections • AutoCAD drafting of floor plans, elevations, tile, and cabinetry drawings to clearly communicate design intent • Gather pricing and lead times for furnishings, fixtures, and materials • Create schedule of final selections to be provided to Project Manager for ordering and installation purchases • Prepare and review detailed quotes and estimates, and revise as needed Other Responsibilities • Work some evenings and weekends, as needed • Track hours attributable to each project • Attend team meetings or other meetings, as required • Perform additional duties as assigned • Some local travel may be required • Oversee installations as needed Qualifications: • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field • Minimum of 2 to 4 years experience at a fast-paced design firm • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office 365 • Proficiency in Studio Designer and online project management platforms (e.g. Asana, Clockify, etc.) • Exceptional English written & verbal communication skills • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment • Exceptionally strong attention to detail and organization skills • Self-starter who catches on quickly and takes initiative • Team player who takes responsibility without excuses Compensation: $35,000+
