Job Description
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining programs and services that makeup Labgen, our Laboratory Information System (LIS). Works closely with the Product Management team and Development Manager to target the right priorities that deliver the most value to customers, the team, and the company. Cooperate with other developers to ensure the quality of their work and their own.
What you'll do:
Help design, develop, test, and maintain the software in accordance with functional requirements and scope of work
Contribute to team discussions
Focus on quality and continuous improvement of applications and processes
Step up when the situation demands such as meeting deadlines and resolving critical production issues
Ensure project timelines are met
Engage with customer conversations on product suggestions and design changes
Management of projects and deliverables to the client
Qualifications
Who you are:
You have 2-3+ years of C or C++ development experience
You have hands-on experience in Linux/Unix OS
You are comfortable discussing computer science concepts (algorithm complexity, data structures, searching, and sorting algorithms)
RESTful APIs experience is an asset
You have experience with Javascript, and any Javascript library, and/or framework (i.e.: ReactJS, Sencha/EXTJS) an asset
Project management experience is an asset
Customer management experience is an asset
