Intern - Financial Empowerment

Financial Empowerment Intern will play a key role in supporting ULMS mission to provide comprehensive financial literacy and empowerment services. This intern will assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring financial programs aimed at uplifting underserved communities. This position also includes grant writing and quality assurance. Intern will work closely with the Financial Empowerment department to secure funding that sustains and expands the organization’s program.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interest in personal finance and /or community empowerment.
Proven ability to build relationships and trust quickly
Experience working with diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Willingness and ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, when necessary, consistent with the demands of the program.
