    Mountain View Pain Center is a multi-disciplinary healthcare practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in chiropractic, physical therapy, and interventional pain management. We are seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team as an internal financial leader. This role is critical to ensuring our operations remain compliant, profitable, and optimized for growth.

    Job Overview The Internal CPA will oversee financial operations, compliance, and reporting. You will play a pivotal role in managing healthcare-related financial matters, tax filings, budgeting, and strategic financial planning to support Mountain View Pain Center’s expanding operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    Financial Oversight

    Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    Develop, monitor, and optimize annual budgets and forecasts.

    Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

    Conduct regular financial audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

    Tax Compliance and Strategy

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific tax laws.

    Manage quarterly and annual tax filings for multiple locations.

    Advise leadership on tax-saving strategies and potential risks.

    Healthcare Financial Management

    Analyze revenue and cost structures specific to healthcare services and insurance billing.

    Oversee financial metrics, such as payer mix, reimbursement rates, and profitability.

    Partner with revenue cycle management teams to optimize billing and coding processes.

    Leadership and Reporting

    Collaborate directly with the CEO, CFO, and departmental heads.

    Provide financial guidance for major operational decisions, acquisitions, or expansions.

    Supervise and mentor accounting staff or financial assistants as needed.

    Deliver weekly and monthly financial performance reports to leadership.

    Qualifications

    CPA Certification (Required).

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required); Master’s degree preferred.

    5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in healthcare or medical practices.

    Proficient with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent).

    Strong knowledge of healthcare financial compliance, tax codes, and

    Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement policies.

    Exceptional analytical and leadership skills.

    Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    Oversee a small team of accounting and finance personnel, as the practice grows.

    Train and manage financial staff to meet departmental goals.
