Digital Media Intern International Conservation Caucus Foundation (ICCF)
- Washington, DC Internship The ICCF is seeking a Digital Media Intern
for summer 2018 to make immediate contributions to the organization's
growing digital media presence. The intern will work closely with ICCF's
global communications staff to prepare materials for the ICCF website,
email marketing campaigns, and social media platforms, including
photographing high-level events, producing video interviews, and
designing info-graphics. About ICCF The International Conservation
Caucus Foundation (ICCF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, educational
foundation promoting the projection of U.S. leadership for international
conservation worldwide. The ICCF brings together leaders at the highest
level of government, business, and the NGO community. We set the
conservation and environmental agenda by coordinating people with
scientific expertise, organizations that support and manage programs on
the ground, and policymakers who shape legislation. Requirements
Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in digital
communications, nonprofit development, and/or public policy advocacy.
Ideal candidates will be college juniors, seniors, or recent graduates
majoring in communications, marketing, political science, international
relations, or a related field. Strong candidates will also possess
exceptional communication skills, strong organizational skills with the
ability to manage several tasks at once, and a demonstrated ability to
work under pressure and meet deadlines. Candidates must have a 3.0
minimum GPA and be available to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per
week. ICCF staff will conduct adequate training during the first week of
the internship. Language skills in Spanish, French, and/or Portuguese
are a plus but not required. Compensation & Benefits This position is
unpaid. Interns will have opportunities to develop valuable professional
skills and experience all that Washington, DC can offer. ICCF's
internship program will expose participants to Capitol Hill and the
world of international conservation and development. Interns will also
have the unique opportunity to interact personally with Members of
Congress, the diplomatic corps, U.S. and international government
