INTERNATIONAL SALES COORDINATOR OVERVIEW:
The International Sales Coordinator will support global marketing initiatives ensuring the success of marketing campaigns and strategies for medical devices. This role involves cross-collaboration between departments, working with distributors, and ensuring compliance with international regulations as well as being responsible for the development and day-to-day operations of all aspects of International Sales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE INTERNATIONAL SALES COORDINATOR:
- Assist in maintaining relationships with international distributors and partners, providing them with marketing resources and guidance
- Initiate and support growth efforts towards the expansion of the distributor network
- Dispatch shipments and create customs paperwork per each country requirement, as needed
- Develop long-term relationships with all distributors
- Interact with other PMT departments to ensure timely process of distributor orders
- Coordinate marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, digital content, etc.
- Comply with statutory and regulatory requirements for each country we distribute products
- Provide potential and existing distributors with world-class customer service
- Accurately input customer orders, invoice and file completed orders
- Monitor and report on order status, working directly with the International Department Management Team
- Support in the education and training of distributors on PMT's products
- Conduct market research to generate qualified leads through different avenues such as cold calling, internet-based research and email communication
- Respond to inquiries from trade shows, the internet or other sources
- Meet all customer requirements including delivery and post-delivery requirements
- Whenever possible, obtain pertinent customer feedback and communicate the feedback to appropriate departments to use the information for improvements
REQUIREMENTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL SALES COORDINATOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (marketing, international business, business administration, communications, or similar)
- Understanding of the full sales cycle
- Entrepreneurial attitude
- Strong work ethic, to consistently exceed expectations
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Passionate about international commerce, culture, learning
- Persistent, energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Proficiency or fluency in a 2nd language is a plus
- Basic computer proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
