Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician to join a collaborative multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, emphasizing preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and community health advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Education: MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Active New York State medical license.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Primary Care.
• Experience: Experience in adult/geriatric primary care preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems and ISTOP/PMP compliance.
• Soft Skills: Strong patient communication, cultural competency, and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and treat common health problems, such as infections, influenza and pneumonia, as well as serious, chronic, and complex illnesses, in adults and geriatrics.
• Prescribe or administer medication of all types, with the compliant use of ISTOP/PMP where needed, therapy, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
• Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Recognize management efforts and engage using IT and EMR capabilities to achieve proficiency in the daily appointment schedule
