    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy intern to support multiple teams, including SEO, SEM, Paid Social, and Operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and agency operations.

    The ideal candidate should be organized, adaptable, and comfortable using AI tools to enhance workflows. A strong understanding of prompt engineering and AI-driven efficiencies is preferred. Interns will assist with digital campaign execution, research, internal process optimization, and administrative support across departments.

    Our internship program lasts approximately three months. Interns typically work 5 hours per day, 3 days per week. We prefer candidates located in the NYC metropolitan area who can work in-office 2–3 days per week. This is an hourly paid position following NYC minimum wage requirements. Exceptional interns may be considered for full-time employment at the end of the program.

    ** Duties & Responsibilities:**

    AI-Powered Marketing & Operations Support:

    • Assist in streamlining processes across SEO, SEM, Paid Social, and Operations using AI tools.
    • Utilize AI-powered prompt libraries to improve efficiency in data analysis, content generation, and automation.
    • Conduct research on AI applications within digital marketing and present insights to the team.

    SEO Support:

    • Assist with keyword research using SEO tools to identify relevant, long-tail, and competitor keywords.
    • Analyze keyword performance in SERPs and help categorize and organize keyword lists.
    • Support on-page optimization efforts by suggesting updates to title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking.
    • Research trending topics and identify content opportunities for blog posts and web pages.
    • Audit existing content to assess performance and suggest improvements.
    • Identify link-building opportunities and deliver anchor text recommendations based on priority keywords and target pages.
    • Submit batches of approved links through tools like FatJoe.
    • Monitor and report on performance post-link submission to identify wins and areas for improvement.
    • Assist with technical SEO tasks including website audits, identifying crawl issues, and making minor updates (e.g., sitemaps, robots.txt).
    • Compile SEO reports from tools and platforms; analyze site traffic and user behavior using Google Analytics.
    • Track competitor SEO performance and strategies.
    • Stay current with SEO trends and best practices; help manage and organize SEO tools and resources.

    SEM Support:

    • Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Ads Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or SpyFu.
    • Perform competitive analysis of ad copy, keywords, and landing pages.
    • Review SQRs to identify negative keywords and new opportunities.
    • Track seasonality trends using Google Trends to inform planning.
    • Build out negative keyword lists and help manage campaign hygiene (e.g., labeling, pausing low-performers, budget pacing checks).
    • Draft ad copy for RSAs using internal guidelines and best practices.
    • Manage and test creative assets (sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets).
    • Support A/B testing of ad copy and creative variations.
    • Assist in reporting (monthly/quarterly) using Google Sheets, Excel, or Looker Studio.
    • Help build dashboards and visualizations if proficient in Data Studio.
    • Analyze wins/losses and present takeaways concisely.
    • Help build campaigns from templates, upload bulk sheets, and QA assets for accuracy.
    • Document SOPs and maintain logs of optimizations.
    • Shadow strategy/client calls to gain a broader understanding of the SEM landscape.

    Paid Social Support:

    • Assist in developing paid social campaigns across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
    • Research emerging AI tools to optimize campaign performance.
    • Monitor social media trends and contribute insights for campaign improvements.

    Operations & Administrative Support:

    • Help manage internal social media content and engagement.
    • Assist in organizing team meetings, events, and new business initiatives.
    • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
    • Complete various administrative and office-related tasks as needed.

    Project Management Support:

    • Assist in planning timelines and coordinating tasks across (SEO, SEM, Paid Social, Operations)
    • Maintain project documentation and update shared trackers
    • Prepare agendas, take meeting notes, and track action items for team check-ins
    • Assist with time tracking compliance by reviewing daily logs, flagging missing entries, and sending reminders to team members
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a 4-year degree from an accredited university.
    • Strong interest in AI-driven marketing, digital media, and advertising strategy.
    • Familiarity with AI tools and prompt engineering is a plus.
    • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
    • Experience with Google Suite, social platforms, and digital marketing tools (Google Ads, SEMrush, etc.) is a plus.

    Additional Information

    • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
    • Only applicants graduating within the next 6 months will be considered.
    • Our office is located at 26 Broadway, NYC, with access to common areas, a podcast studio as well as stocked snacks and coffee.
