ENTRY LEVEL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Midtown East, New York
NYC-based hedge fund is seeking a bright, energetic and self-motivated Administrative Assistant to come join our team. The ideal candidate is an organized and resourceful individual with strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet all guests
- Maintain and manage daily office activity
- Assist with managing vendor relationships and master contact sheets
- Manage office inventories including supplies and pantry
- Organize and monitor conference room calendars
- Provide support to Firm executives
- Schedule meetings and appointments, including investor meetings
- Organize and monitor management company bills
- Answer phones and liaise with various employees and groups to effectively maintain calendars
- Book and organize travel arrangements and manage travel itineraries
- Assist with office administrative tasks as needed
- Assist with keeping the office clean and organized
- Assist with tracking IT open items
Qualifications:
- College degree required (minimum of 2 years)
- Strong communication skills and desire to work on a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Strong work ethic and the ability to maintain a positive can-do attitude under pressure
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Trustworthy and maturity to maintain confidential information
- This is a full-time in-office position
- Self-starter with team player attitude, who can also work well independently in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION AND JOB TYPE:
Full-Time - $50k-$55k per year with paid benefits
