Overview: The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for maintaining all part numbers and related information. This includes identifying, counting, completing cycle counts, labeling parts, and shelves. This position would also assist, as needed, with pulling production and sales orders from inventory, delivering materials to production and service team members, assembly of small parts, assist with staging and unloading incoming material, and loading finished goods. Additional as needed responsibilities may include answering calls from production and delivering material as needed, lifting, and moving material.
Responsibilities:
Various clerical duties/Data Entry
Inventory counts and Cycle Counts
Identifying parts when received
Creating new part locations and identification of parts
Maintenance and updating of part number data.
Pull orders for production as needed.
Count, record, and report inventory as required.
Report defective or substandard material, supplies or products.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product.
Document product shipments by recording or verifying products shipped or received as required
Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting any deficiencies found
Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory
Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering materials and supplies
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
Able to be flexible and respond to the changing needs of the organization, including working overtime as required
Other duties as assigned.
