  • Responsibilities

    The ideal candidate will ensure that the warehouse is efficient and well organized, that all the parts are clearly located and properly identified, and that the parts are timely supplied to production and that the assembly lines are properly stocked during the workday.

    Other Responsibilities and Duties include:

    • Tasks relating to inventory control: receiving and storing parts from suppliers, kit preparation for manufacturing, data entry, physical movement of items, and material disposition.

    • Maintains organization of material on the assembly floor to provide a working environment that is clean, organized, optimized, and easy to maintain

    • Performs all other related tasks pertinent to the success of the production line material-related issues

    • Coordinate and prepare parts for production assembly, ensuring all components are accurately kitted and ready for efficient manufacturing workflows

    • Conducts annual cycle counts of all inventory types and maintains inventory accuracy

    • Ensure new items have proper locations within 24 hours of receipt

    • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records

    • Resolve incoming delivery issues with key stakeholders

    • Loading and unloading shipments

    • Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages

    • 3-5 years working in a manufacturing setting

    • Intermediate computer skills are required for this job

    • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with others

    • Must be safety conscious and always follow the company's safety policies and procedures but be willing to assist with improving safety procedures but be willing to assist with improving safety procedures

    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and understand verbal and written directions

    Qualifications

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

    • Experience operating a forklift

    • High School or GED
