Job Description
** What you're responsible for:**
- Liaising and negotiating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality of stock purchases.
- Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
- Inputting and accessing inventor data through a computerized maintenance management information system utilize computer to troubleshoot records for inventory control.
- Performing administrative functions such as typing, filing, and maintaining detailed records.
- Compiling, classifying, collating, and organizing information. Maintaining electronic, paper records and reports. Maintains inventory control.
- Ensuring coordination of activities to meet department objectives.
- Providing clear spoken and written information to supervisors and managers regarding the status of situation or orders. Answering inquiries about the maintenance/inventory management system or procedures.
- Cooperating with peers, managers and operations personnel and act as a liaison between other employees and departments when it comes to physical inventory or parts and supplies.
- Tracking and issuing safety PPE supplies to department leads via assigned department storage spaces.
- Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase order, pricing reports, and inventory records.
