    About the Role:

    We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Receiving Clerk to join our Kitchen Store team at Allen & Petersen Cooking & Appliance Center in Anchorage, AK. As the Inventory Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely receiving of inventory (including quality kitchen gadgets, the best cooking tools and exciting seasonal products), maintaining inventory records, and supporting the overall operations of our store.

    Responsibilities:

    Receive and inspect incoming inventory

    Verify and record quantities and condition of items received

    Coordinate with purchaser

    Assist with inventory stickering, organization and storage

    Requirements:

    Prior experience in inventory management or receiving preferred, however, we are willing to provide on-the-job training to blend your knowledge, experience, wisdom, and decisive action with our products and point-of-sale system.

    Strong attention to detail and accuracy

    Ability to lift and move heavy items

    Excellent organizational and time management skills

    Proficiency in using inventory management software
