Job Title: Inventory & Purchasing Specialist Location: Hybrid / remote Employment type: Full time salaried / exempt Core hours: 8:00 – 5:00 M-F w/ flexibility based on needs of the business Salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 Reports to: Customer Support Manager

Required qualifications: High School degree or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of inventory management or purchasing experience, preferably in the appliance industry.

Job description: The Parts & Inventory Specialist supports our field service technicians and accounting team through part procurement and accurate part inventory accountability and inventory maintenance. Core responsibilities include: • Purchasing: o Order parts for jobs that require sourcing from non-standard distributors or from manufacturers o Support technicians with ad hoc part searches and orders as needed o Update quotes and invoices with part numbers and prices as required – convey to CSR’s for customer follow up • Inventory management: o Perform and / or monitor inventory receipt transactions o Establish and maintain inventory locations and inventory location strategy inside business management software (Rossware Service Desk) o Establish and publish inventory cycle counting schedules and collect results of cycle counts o Perform follow up investigation of cycle count discrepancies, address root cause and perform inventory adjustments as required o Periodically drive a route inside the greater Twin Cities / St. Cloud area to collect unused parts and cores o Request and process RMA’s and conduct part returns through direct delivery and shipping as appropriate o Perform ad hoc part “milk runs” as needed, and as available to support improvement of technician “first time completes” o Track status of parts, perform part “check in” daily and advise CSR’s on part availability to inform job schedules o Manage customer specific procurement, RMA and inventory accountability processes as required o Request / obtain credits for parts that have failed inside mfg. warranty periods • Other duties as assigned
