WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE IMPORTANT AT IPSOS?
This position reports directly to the Field Manager and works collaboratively with other Centre staff. The successful candidate will spend approx 75% of their time working in their current Team Leader role and the other 25% assisting with coverage for the centre as outlined in the responsibilities listed below.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING:
· OPENING/CLOSING SHIFTS: with managerial support, opens and/or closes shifts on an as needed basis
· TRAINING: conducts core training in Winnipeg Field and VCC
· RECRUITMENT: assists in screening and interviewing potential new hires
· ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS: including but not limited to assisting with attendance management, resourcing, interviewer performance review approvals and equipment management
· PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: responsible for the creation and delivery of formal disciplinary warnings
· PROJECT MANAGEMENT: ensures all necessary technical and logistical preparations are made before start of shift. Keeps open communication with Project Managers regarding project flow rates
· QUALITY CONTROL: monitors Market Research Interviewers; responsible for conducting TL Doublevisions
· COLLABORATION AND TEAMWORK: works in collaborative fashion with all Field personnel in general and other Team Leaders in particular. Serves as role model through leading by example.
· RESOURCING: Assisting with shift setup and planning, tracking of hours.
· OTHER: duties as assigned
THIS MIGHT BE THE JOB FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE:
· Currently in a Team Leader position with Ipsos.
· High School Diploma or equivalent. Relevant college or university courses an asset.
· At a “meets” expectation or higher in all areas.
· Proven track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
· Well organized with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
· Well-developed and effective interpersonal skills are required.
· Advanced Project Management knowledge/application.
· Excellent problem solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal language skills.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications required, particularly Excel and Word.
· Must be available to work a flexible schedule of evenings and weekends
