General Summary
Perform software integration and configuration management activities to support software deliveries for ground data services for the International Space Station (ISS) and Space Launch System (SLS).
As part of the HOSC Software CM team, activities include managing the software code base, building release candidates, and delivering software to the formal test team. In addition, this position will involve configuring and loading software in the Development Test Environment (DTE), resolving server configuration and network issues, performing initial application tests and assisting with developers' debug situations impacting their testing.
POSITION HAS OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE PROCESSES AND ADD SKILLS LIKE DEVELOPING SCRIPTS TO IMPROVE/AUTOMATE SOFTWARE BUILDS AND STATUS. Assisting developers in areas including software, network, configuration, accounts, privileges, and hardware/OS. DTE systems provide a flight-like environment for testing software and systems to be used for ISS payloads and SLS test and flight support. These systems include Linux, Windows, portal SharePoint farms and databases servers.

Required Skills Required Experience
· Bachelors’ degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience
· Minimum of 5 years related experience
· Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (US Citizenship required)
· Working knowledge of current operating systems
· Working knowledge of software CM
· Working knowledge of desktop applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
· Good troubleshooting skills for resolving software loading issues in a multi-server networked configuration
· Experience identifying and resolving network issues
· Good problem solving skills
· Good communication skills
· Eager to learn new things
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with ClearCase and Git
· Experience with Jenkins
· Experience with JIRA
· Working knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows command line functions and scripting
· Experience with CMMI-DEV processes
