  • Responsibilities

    As an Irrigation Superintendent at Heroes Lawn Care, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of irrigation projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will oversee installations, repairs, and maintenance of irrigation systems for commercial and residential properties, managing crews to execute work according to specifications and timelines. Responsibilities: • Project Oversight: Lead and coordinate irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and high-end residential properties, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards. • Team Management: Supervise and direct irrigation crews on-site, ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely. Train and mentor crew members to enhance skills and maintain high performance. • Client Relations: Serve as the point of contact for clients, conducting site evaluations, presenting solutions, and discussing additional services as necessary. Ensure client satisfaction by resolving any issues that arise during or after project completion. • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of completed work to verify proper installation, efficient system operation, and adherence to design specifications. Identify potential problems and address them proactively. • Collaboration: Work closely with the Owner/General Manager to optimize production efficiency. Coordinate with office staff for effective scheduling and routing of crews to maximize productivity. • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours. Provide detailed reports on project progress, resource allocation, and any issues encountered on-site. • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure resource allocation aligns with cost estimates. Work with management to develop cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in irrigation system installation and management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (superintendent, foreman, or similar). • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale irrigation projects. • Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, management, and crew members. • Ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and ensure work meets high-quality standards. • Knowledge of industry best practices, safety regulations, and irrigation technology. • LI (Licensed Irrigator) and BPAT (Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester) licenses are highly preferred but not necessarily required. Compensation: $80,000+ per year
