Job Summary:

Baker Landscaping & Concrete, LLC is seeking a hardworking and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a team to ensure systems are installed efficiently, functioning properly, and meet client needs. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, basic knowledge of irrigation systems, and is comfortable performing physical labor in outdoor settings.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist with the installation of irrigation systems, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and connecting valves and sprinkler heads.

Perform routine maintenance on existing systems, such as cleaning, adjusting, and replacing parts.

Identify and repair leaks or malfunctions in irrigation systems.

Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.

Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Follow instructions from supervisors and ensure work is completed to quality standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.

Support team members in troubleshooting and resolving system issues.

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on-site.

Oversee the design, installation, and Maintenance of irrigation systems for residential and commercial projects.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Knowledge of safety standards and environmental regulations related to landscaping and maintenance

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience in irrigation systems design, installation, and troubleshooting

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and walking.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Work Environment and Conditions:

Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.

Ability to work on uneven terrain, such as dirt, grass, or gravel surfaces.

Exposure to loud noises from equipment and vehicles.

May require wearing protective gear such as gloves, safety boots, or reflective vests.
