Job Summary

We are seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our team! As an Irrigation Installer, you will be traveling to a worksite, evaluating a customer's needs, and installing irrigation systems based on manufacturer and company standards. You will also maintain existing irrigation systems,( start up service, mid season and winterizing systems) troubleshoot problems, and make adjustments as needed. The ideal candidate will enjoy working outside and has previous experience with landscaping or irrigation. This is a seasonal job.

Responsibilities

Install and inspect irrigation systems based on manufacturer and company specifications

Dig trenches and lay pipe for new installations or repairs as needed

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing irrigation systems

Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers

Test and adjust sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage

Winterize Lawn Sprinkler Systems

Monitor existing irrigation systems

Work on Commercial and Residential systems

Interact with customers

Qualifications

Previous landscaping or irrigation experience desired

Fluent in English

Experience operating heavy equipment, like Ditch Witch Vibratory Plow desired but not necessary

Valid Drivers License a must

Proficient in using power and hand tools for installation and repair work

Ability to dig, build trenches and perform physical tasks for installation/Repair work

Knowledge of different types of sprinkler heads, valves and controllers and other irrigation components preferred
